My First iPad post yo

Well I finally got the dang thang and it’s working like a charm. In fact, i’m typing on my bluetooth keyboard right now via the ipad to write this blog wowzers right!

Thoughts on the iPad after 5 hours of playing and downloading and setting up:
1) Awesome
2) No multitasking like webOS is totally annoying.
3) This little keyboard is friggin cool yo!
4) this WordPress app is kinda neat too but doesn’t have all the functionality I would expect.
5) it weighs a little more than I thought it would, but i’m fine with that.
6) the case i got for it is sweet.. for now.
7) the stylus is ok, but you have to apply too much pressure.
8) smudges like a beyach yo

more to come i’m sure.

A few quotes that help me put the LOST finale in perspective

“Big, giant answers about what the Island was or its place in the world’s cosmology or why it had Egyptian stuff all over it or anything like that were probably bound to be disappointing, as most of the answers dispensed this season were, only even more so. Saying what the Island is is like saying what the meaning of life is; it’s a question you can ask but never receive a really satisfying answer to.” – Todd VanDerWerff, The LA Times

“LOST’s finale, like the rest of the series, was a Rorschach test. What you think it means says more about you than it does about what ‘Lost’ masterminds Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse actually put on the screen.” – Gary Susman, TV Squad

“I’ve been writing about the show for years and putting out some crazy theories and I honestly think that I had no idea that it would end this way,” said blogger Jo Garfein, who watched the finale at the Orpheum Theatre with 2,000 fans, some of whom came from as far away as Scotland and Turkey. “It was way more beautiful than I could have imagined.”

21 Tips for Using Twitter and Facebook for Business

Good Read!

Last year, Forbes magazine assembled a visual list for its Top 21 Twitter Tips to showcase business examples on how to use Twitter for marketing, service, sales, and ideation. The original compilation served as inspiration for a new list, one that helps businesses of all shapes, sizes, and focus embrace not only Twitter, but all social networks of relevance.

While many of the examples and quotes remain the same, the list is modified based on my observations and personal experiences.
